Miami Dade Water and Sewer

Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department  ( WASD ) capital improvement program is impressive.

WASD’s existing water and sewer infrastructure consist of six major treatment plants

and more than 14,000 miles of pipelines. The average age of watermains is

fifty years.

The sewer lines in the Wynwood section of Miami are date 1922. Mostly clay pipes.

WASD has identified more than $12.6 billion dollars of water and sewer main

replacement work that is needed throughout the system.

Florida Pipeline Company is currently teamed up with Layne heavy Civil on several projects in the Miami Area, including Shenandoah A and Shenandoah B. Watermain extension project. Project consist of  installation and replacement of new water lines in the Shenandoah area of Miami.

Florida Pipeline will utilize a combination of proprietary trenchless technology developed in-house and open cut techniques for the installation of water lines in this area.

In addition We are teamed with Wade Trim on the 72” Sanitary forcemain along NW/NW 159 Street from NW 17 ave to NE 10th Ave.

Florida Pipeline Company is local Miami Dade County CBE and DBE firm. We are certified with the county and FDOT. We design permit and construct water distribution and sewage collection systems, including force mains and sewage pump stations.

Our firm is also teamed up on the area “N” Metro zoo extension. This project is budgeted at 120 million.
