One of the services that we provide is the 5 year certification for stormwater systems. We are very familiar with the South Broward Drainage District 5 year operations and maintenance permit and engineers certification.
The process requires a civil engineer to inspect the site and arrange for the cleaning of all storm water boxes, catch basins, and pipes to insure that the system is function properly. We typically do this in-house with a vac truck and our registered civil engineer. The process takes about 30 days to complete.
The cost varies based on the size of the property and amount of effort to pump out each catch basin. Typically we charge $ 400 per catch basin plus mobilization charge for small jobs. The engineers certification cost varies based on project size and availability of record drawings. The engineer must evaluate the system and certify the stormwater system is working correctly.
